Choosing 50 of our favourite albums of the year was not an easy task. This list represents the albums we have listened to and enjoyed the most in 2016. Some are Welsh, some are not. If you haven’t heard them we can recommend them all. The passing of David Bowie cast a huge shadow over 2016 and it would be easy to award him the top spot for that reason alone.
